Groundhog for lunch anyone???
Deja vu all over again?
Well all we need are:- accusations of cliques - check!
- wanting a sub-board - check!
- newbies not knowing where to post - check!
- accusations of newbies being ignored - check!
Now all we need is a eulogy to my studliness, and my day will be complete..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I agree with some of the stuff here, but its what you make it and how much you want to join in. I have been a member since July 06..I think?? but really only posted properly in the last 2 weeks. Its not because I found the board unfriendly, quite the opposite in fact but it was more about me getting my head around things and realising that this place is the best support I will get. Maybe a sub section for challenges/diaries might be good but at the end of the day its about how much you want out of it and are prepared to put in helping othersI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

It might be the same conversation again, but the fact that it is reoccurring must say something.
I know the board guides work really hard but if we are going to have the chat threads then the other threads need closer moderation and closing to be archived to avoid clutter. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Well the way I don't read individual threads is by not clicking on them.
It may comes as a surprise, but I don't read everything..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

And to add to the check list:
Martin held a poll to ask thoughts on a diary sub board and he decided to keep thing as they are- check
The big list of stickies was requested to be reduced to one so the board can be full of as many live thread as possible - check
The accusations of newbies being ignored was highlighted as not an issue by Snaggles only last week - check
Heaven forbid a newby actually comes along, reads a few challenge threads and thinks - you know what, I'm not quite ready to bare my soul publicly -however I fancy a bit of a challenge to get me into to the swing of this DFW malarky myself - what lovely people they all are!:D"Stay Wonky":D
