Many thanks for this.
Poorly responded by me but I did mean do nothing until we get a court action?
Assume SCS Law, Zenith or whoever are just the next leg in the scammers world.
Thanks again
Forget Zenith, same sewer living creatures.
Just wait, they can be zapped especially if SCLaw start adding on fake amounts, as they do ?0 -
Thank you.0

Further to previous posts it seems these scammers do not give up. We have now received a letter from Zenith collections asking us to contact them now to avoid court action. Have been advised to pay £160 by early December 9 December. It's dated 25/11 but arrived today.
Advice please on what to do? Nothing or ??
Thank you0 -

Just read the light grey small print on the letter to discover just who Zenith really are.
But I guess you'd already know that if you've read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Some more advice please.... Further to previous posts we have now received a letter from SCS Law. Is it a case of still ignore or are they going to pursue this through to court. If so, what stage should, if at all, the fine be paid??0

And what are SCSLaw saying ........ are they giving you 30 days to respond ? Have they added a fake £60 ???

PARDON ME ...... you don't pay these bods, if it goes to court a judge will decide but if SCSLaw are adding fake amounts, good chance a judge will spank SCSLaw and you claim your costs.
With the courts, especially with the fake add-ons, they are aware of the scam so SCSLaw go to court on the understanding they could well be spanked, just like the other dodgy legals you read about on here0 -
Hi, They have not added anything further, still £160 as per the Zenith letters. They are quoting the Beavis v Parking Eye Ltd case and saying that unless we pay within 14 days UKPC may take steps towards legal proceedings against us by way of a Letter of Claim. They add that this letter is not a letter of claim and that in event of legal proceeding the amount will increase to reflect any court fees etc.0
