    Hello everyone.

First paid shift done and attempted a dog walk but only got about 200 yards before they refused to move. It is soooo cold and exceptionally windy and it started to rain.

Going to do physio next and maybe some flying later. Have more paid stuff later then a meal out with my friend followed by a concert.

    Afternoon all

Just had my lunch break and am heading back to paid stuff. While I was on break I...
    Did all my dailies
    Folded and put away laundry
Put today’s load on to the airer
    Sorted a bit of paperwork
    Quick vac of ground floor
Ate my lunch, washed up and wiped counters

Back to work now, meetings all afternoon... joy! And it’s still raining!!

Flung some bits on FB marketplace.. hopefully bringing a few quids in too!
One large box and some random bits to add to my 2 charity bags
    one binbag of rubbish

Also decided to strip a car seat and keep the bits as spares for the one we still use. The actual body of this one is broken but spares won't go amiss on the other one.

Few bits to go in the shed.

    2x WM
3 boxes to go upstairs with the toys and be sorted when I am doing that.

few toys put by for DD1's small.

.. I actuall feel like I have made a tiny bit of heaedway in this pit of a room! It has been unusable for 18 months!

Evening all. Fed up with this rain - the standing water means we are STILL pumping both wells to keep the floors dry in the house. Having to restrict loo-flushing too, which is grim. Our septic tank is full but luckily we have a non-return valve fitted to prevent sewage back-flow...sorry TMI...

On the flying front, I have completed cleaning the Middle Room and mopped too! Rather pleased how much better it still looked after last week, so maybe I'm finally getting on top of things.

DH and Small have gone to football practice on the 3G pitch even though its chucking it down, so I suppose I better have a hot meal ready when they get home in an hour :)

Dizzy fingers crossed for you, I hope the rain / water level stays down.

We are officially on the 'you will flood list' went for a walk to the park and the river has breached, the water will hopefully head across the flood plain, I feel sorry of the folk down river, they are already flooded, and more is going their way. Other locals are more bothered about their Saturday morning fun run, as the paths will be submerged.

Cupboards sorted, more old paper work flung, a lovely feeling

Couple of bits thrown at ebeast.

Some cheeky moose has offered £15 for a pair of discontinued £55 trainers I have listed for £25 ... erm.. no... just no... cheeky toad.. my final reply was, 'oh well hopefully when you've saved the other £10 they will still be available because I'm not letting them go for £15.' .. why are people so rude? you wouldn't haggle the cost of your shopping in Tesco or Debenhams or wherever.. gggrrrr

I have flung a broken car seat, bodged a flap over the VERY draughty letterbox.. I found a nice juicy bit of foam so plopped that over it. A wheelie bin has been half filled and the middle room is almost looking like a room! I moved a chest of drawers from the hallway into there for DS1 to fill with clothes and moved the tv unit so the sofabed doesn't bash on it. I am needing to shuffle half a dozen more boxes out of there and I am dragging some washing to my mothers shortly to whizz in her dryer.. waiting for the girls to be asleep.

Few more bits put by for DD1

My next job is looking at perspex type stuff to cover a leaded window which allows a howling gale through it, I need some warm in this house! and if OH doesn't sort this front door soon I WILL be having a meltdown of titanic proportions!

Off to put away the girls, clear the middle room and OH can hang up wet washing. DW needs loading, WM's can both go on again because the airers will probably be clearable now (sleeping kittens woke up!) I need to restack wool in a small box and 20 bags into one sturdy box. I can almost see progress!

Posting my achievements today rather than *ailings (not using that word beginning with F here!):

    - breakfast , shower and dress
    - make soup for lunch
    - S&S kitchen
    - check finances
    - make a paper version of the dates list
    - prepare craft activity for TG
    - early lunch
    - run TG
    - Rosie's walk - 20 minutes in pouring rain (she was not happy)

    and now I'm about to
    - do nothing all evening - probably not even camels

    G'night all

    Evening all

    Finished paid stuff
Did quick vac of stairs, cat fluff again!!
Went on rescue mission to collect DH who was stranded at a train station 20 miles away because of broken down train and floods. Just got back, DH having his supper, I’ve rather gone off the idea of food tonight, will have a cuppa and see how I feel.
Sending good wishes to all those dealing with floods or the threat of them, terrible situation to be in xx

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today and not affected by flooding. Our village is where two main rivers join but the defences have held up so far.

It is my intention today to fly between the paid shifts. Not sure what I'll sound like on the phone today. Have woken with a very sore throat after too much singing at last nights concert.

    Have a great day everyone.
