I have washed breakfast dishes, walked dogs, changed bedding, dusted in bedroom, hoovered and swept through house, put rubbish out for collection, fed the birds and went to selby abbey with a friend for two minutes silence.

Just munching some crisps and meeting other friends this afternoon.

I took wet washing round to my mothers to be dried.. sinc ethe blooming dryer died!

I've just got the photos back from the girls photo shoot.. some are utterly gorgeous! I need to get those paid for this week.. that's DD1's christmas sorted! and the outlaws!! Woot!

I need to go to shop.. and ring about the dryer fix, they are open until 8 thankfuly..



ooh... argos.. I have reserved stuff for OH to pick up shortly.. best send him the deets!

Just having a breather as I've fought and won against the duvet of doom in the spare room. DSD is being collected shortly so, I need her old room to be at least useable, if not welcoming...:eek:

Today was my kitchen day - I've been keeping it reasonably tidy since last week, so it only took me an hour to get everything spic and span, although I've still left the inside of the oven for another day.

Log fire burning, dogs walked and new smart bracelet unpacked, charged and on my wrist! This is to replace my very beautiful and dainty watch that I lost on the slightly tipsy walk home from a friend's house several weeks ago. In the hour I've been wearing it, I've done 1125 steps and that's just pottering around, so I'm looking forward to seeing a full day tomorrow (plus an analysis of my sleep/non-sleep pattern).

I too, have started Christmas shopping...*polishes halo* yes! You'll all be pleased to hear that I picked up two bags of chocolate coins for the boys' stockings.....argh, just remembered they're still on the old stairs, waiting to go into a hidey-hole somewhere, so just tiptoeing off to remove them before Small or Tiny find them!

He's got three days off this week (well, until they call him in to cover sicknesses, at any rate) and he's actually done some cleaning - not been upstairs yet, but all the floors downstairs have been vacuumed and mopped, the kitchen is clean despite him having cooked twice and there aren't any foul emanations from the direction of the litter tray.


The mobile fffwittery appears to be on its way to being resolved with a significant apology of a cheaper rate, a load of extras, a sizeable credit on the first bill and it's one that actually exists, as the package tracking is live. OK, I have to tolerate the wrong colour - for as long as it takes to shove the blasted thing into its protective casing - but if it turns up tomorrow, it'll still be sooner than the original, as that literally doesn't exist.

Just need food to be provided and I will then take myself off for a hot bath and an early night.

Quite a productive day at the paid stuff today, I am tired now though. Kitchen has been righted and I will put a small load in the WM shortly. Black bin is overflowing but thankfully is being emptied tomorrow.

Never seen OH move so fast to a knock on the door it seems we are having an election, and we have a political party knocking on the door ~~ so he is off to ask them questions and quiz them over their policies

Took delivery of flowers from DH....
S/s kitchen and bathroom done

DH just having supper before he goes out for the evening, I’m tucked under a blanket with a hot water bottle and my book and that’s where I’m staying for a bit.

I've had a lovely day with friends, attempted a second dog walk, done a freezer inventory, put the Halloween stuff away, made space for Xmas stores by sorting the cupboard of doom and two washloads are now on the airer.

DH has fallen asleep so I've just finished the crisps I started on at lunchtime. Might indulge in some ice cream too.
