Thanks Becky, hope you had a good Christmas too.

Happy New Year everyone!
December interest of £255.17 showed in the account today so I did my final December OP of £20.17 to tidy the final figure.
Month summary:
Start balance - £120,970
Total OPs - £92.43
Interest added - £255.17
End balance - £120,675
I’d set a comfortable target of £120700 and a stretch target of £120,650 so I’m happy to be ending the month in the middle of these.
I’ve been speaking with a mortgage advisor to look into our options for moving. Our current house needs work doing to it to increase the storage for what we’d need and I’d rather not pay to do it if we’re going to move so I’m looking into whether it’s feasible to move sooner. There are so many variables it’s tricky to know what our options would be but we’ve got a viewing booked for Friday and someone coming to value our house on Monday. It’s early days but exciting! I’ll carry on making OPs where I can to ensure we can maximise the amount of equity that will be released. January “comfortable” goal is £120,400 and stretch goal is £120,350Mortgage balance as of end of Dec 19 - £120,675
