Had to wait until today to tidy the mortgage account this month as the interest only showed up today but I’m still counting this towards November’s figures, so this months stats are:
    Start balance: £121,253.94
DD payment: £500 (includes regular OP of £42.26)
    Additional OPs: £31.41
    Interest added: £247.47
End balance: £120,970 - due to get into the £119’s in March with our regular OPs but I’m going to see if I can bring this forward to Feb - might be tricky while money’s so tight on mat leave but we’ll see what we can do!

Weekly TT to be done later but I probably won’t post about that on here as that will be going into the holiday fund.

So excited for Christmas, so today will be spent doing mainly Christmassy things! Happy December everyone

Meant to post about this last week but forgot! Managed to get an amazing deal on V media on Black Friday. We’re currently on Sky but our introductory offer is about to run out and I refuse to pay the full price. Our internet has been shocking for ages so we looked at V. Got the full package with all channels for the same as what we’re paying now but the best bit is it comes with a 12 month sim only contract. DH phone contract has just finished so this saves us £56 a month! I was planning to go through TCB but had to ring them to sort it so instead they waived the set up fee and the first 3 months payment which will save over £240 (TCB was £200) for the first three months, not counting the phone bill. All of these savings will be split equally between the 3 pots (although this may increase soon as I’ve been looking in to private pension saving as DH and I would love to be able to retire in e
30 years making us 62 and 58 respectively)

I’m hoping my posts make sense and aren’t just garbled nonsense, I think we’ve hit the 4 month sleep regression and it is taking its toll!!

Ohhh no to the 4 month sleep regression. Excellent news on the v. Deal, it's things like this that together will make the big difference.

Fingers crossed for a good night.

Thanks. We’ve just had a chunk of 4 hours which is the most we’ve had in a while so fingers crossed for another good chunk. Everytime we think we’ve cracked something it slaps us with a leap or a growth spurt, but I guess that’s just parenting in general haha

Things never stay still with little ones but it does mean gard stages come to an end. I'm up with my 13 month old as he is not well.

I hope you manage a good few hours.

Thanks MrsLovely, it can sometimes be a bit demoralising at how long it takes to drop to the next £1k bracket so I’m hoping little challenges can keep me motivated (although we’ve come to a bit of a halt as I got a bit carried away with little ones first Christmas, whoops!). It’s payday on Monday so hopefully we’ll get back on track then!
