There is nothing wrong with wanting something or taking action to try to acheive it (posting on forums doesn’t achieve anything unless it results in action).
My point was that Danny is confusing what he wants with reality whereas you (and I) are clear on the separation between our desires and reality.
I voted remain and I accept the leave vote but I don’t accept very important legislation being rushed through without scrutiny.
I’m glad we have a diversity of opinion. Opposition provides scrutiny. So I think it’s not a good thing to wish everyone else was like minded.0 -
I’m very disappointed by how well the tories are doing after the floods, Boris appears to be made of Teflon, alas I can’t just ignore the data.
Redgag can probably give you some lessons if you want.
Perhaps Labour's policy of re-opening the coalmines (= more global warming = more floods) is biting them in the bum.0 -
I think people are sick to death of Labour going on about the NHS
The NHS is not run well, I really don't see how more money can help it.
What needs to happen is for it to be reformed. Charge people who do not attend Dr's appointments. If they miss 3 appointments, they are off.. for good!
Charge tourists to use it when they come over. £50 to see the Dr, etc.
Bring back Student nurse bursary . Why they got rid of that, i'll never know.
Reform the A&E department. I went the A&E last year when i split my head open. Was seen straight away. I did notice there were people getting treated, but there was nothing wrong with them!! A&E means emergencies only!
and get rid of NHS managers. Most are utterly useless and do not know how to run it.
Fix it within, not chuck money at it.Ryan0 -

We have reciprocal arrangements with other countries. Many of us use this abroad.Bring back Student nurse bursary . Why they got rid of that, i'll never know.
Labour have pledged to bring these back. I’m not a labour supporter, just stating that point.Reform the A&E department. I went the A&E last year when i split my head open. Was seen straight away. Agree, but I’m sure you noticed people being clinically prioritised.Fix it within, not chuck money at it.
It needs money too. Well managed spending.0 -

I voted remain, but I just want the whole thing over now, I've moved on accepted it, I just wish that everyone else would too. But I don't deny people the right to want or push for what they believe in.
So if property corrects down a long way next year then just accept it and move on?0 -

Blaming the Government of the day is simply a cop out. Flooding occurs somewhere every year in the UK. Doesn't hit the headlines though. Even the coverage of the floods in Japan soon got forgotten once the rugby was underway again.0 -

Not long ago you thought this vote would be overturned?0 -
They are not wound up at all and a labour win is still a very low probability.
These people are successful people with flourishing businesses, nice home, diversified portfolios, and yes Porsche in the garage etc.
Yes they don’t like the idea of socialism, they are just being sensible and saying they will cut their cloth to suit if circumstances changed.
It’s crash trolls saying selling homes and winding up one part of your portfolio is a big emotional deal.
To people with several multiple income streams it’s not a big deal to change tack, it’s just business and just something at the back of their mind., but still very unlikely.
The vast majority of people who piled into BTL don`t have "multiple income streams".....they have a job, a mortgage on their main house and two or three mortgages on their BTL, if the economy goes South they are going to be in big trouble IMO. Many BTL people I have talked to think having multiple BTL IS multiple income streams! They have a lot to learn about diversification.....0 -
Well brexit isn’t a guarantee (some parties want to stop it).
What does Iranians or Vietnamese coming here have to do with brexit or Europe.
I’m sure you’ve notice that people are (very tragically) dying to get here. Some swimming the channel with one flipper.
Why will non-Eu migrants from very poor countries cease to come here post brexit?
Even with the worst predictions it’s still better than Syrian and Vietnam and even if it wasn’t traffickers would still lie.
I would love this activity to stop, but it wont stop just because crash trolls want it to.
Sadly traffickers will continue to traffic and I don’t see how brexit will affect nonEu migration.
Also there are plenty of UK students and young people in London living 6 to a house. It’s called a HMO and is not uncommon for young people in our cities.
Why would someone do that to leave France? Also your constant use of the phrase Crash Troll tells everyone that you just want more and more property bubbles IMO,and as I have said many times....EXPENSIVE PROPERTY DOES NOT HELP ORDINARY PEOPLE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, the property bubble helped banks, bankers, and politicians (who could hide lack of meaningful wage growth behind mad property gainz!! #WooHoo.com)0 -

What on earth are you going on about? I can't even begin to guess what you mean?
I have got more than twice invested in equities as what I have in investment property, and I also have now got more invested both in in bonds and fixed pension than I have in property, it is nowhere near a dominant feature in my portfolio like it once was.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0
