Hi I've got a Lenovo idea pad and I need to reduce what's on my c drive as it won't download any updates or even a newer windows. I ve followed what I've read but it's still full. Any suggestions please.

You can use software like Treesize to visually highlight what is taking up your disk space and delete (or move to another location) as needed.

Two ways to deal with your dilemma;
Back up your data and then run a clean install of version 1903. That will also solve the issue with updates going forward.
The other option would be to fit a larger capacity M.2 SSD;

Did you sort the issue with the Zoostorm?0 -

Yes it's working for now lol. I won't be installing a larger capacity drive as I don't know how. Maybe a clean install whatever that means 0

It might be possible to use an external USB thumb drive, see https://www.dell.com/support/article/uk/en/ukbsdt1/sln310147/windows-10-needs-more-space-for-update-on-32gb-storage-devices?lang=en
I have done this, but I'm not sure it was for the latest Win10 release. I think it was and it will probably still work but I'm not 100% sure.0 -

Creating the Windows 10 USB flash drive
Visit the Microsoft Media Creation Tool website
Click on Download Tool Now.
Save the Application.
Plug your USB Flash Drive(at least 8 GB in capacity) into the PC where you saved the application.
Run the Application.
Accept the EULA
Select Create installation media for another PC and click Next.
Choose the correct settings for your version of Windows 10
Language (Country)
Windows 10
32-bit (x86)
Click Next.
Select USB Flash Drive and click Next.
Select the Flash Drive and click Next.
Allow the application to complete. You will be prompted when it is finished and has successfully created the bootable drive.
Once you have created the installation media, we can continue with the clean install.0 -
Another option that I neglected to mention, is to plug in a microSD card to increase the storage.
It would be helpful if you told us the exact model number of the device involved. They aren't all the same.0
