Hi guys. Hope you're all bearing up during these continuing strange times! Just to let you know that I've not heard a peep from the courts yet. Have a relaxing weekend folks4

Sorry peeps, just glanced at the paperwork & made an assumption it was court, but it's actually a telephone hearing. Arrrrghhh!!
Oh well. Guess we've lost it then lol
Thanks for all your help guys!! Was at least worth a try to avoid the telephone hearing.

Exactly. Just make sure you follow the court orders explicitly4

Read other 2020 reports and feedback about telephone hearings , plus the telephone hearings thread by coupon mad too
If you prepare well for it , it's not a problem
We tend to expect video or telephone hearings anyway , due to covid195 -
Yep make sure you have followed all orders to the absolute letter.3

Update: Had been instructed to put in an email request to the Judge to be the phone lay rep for my partner, before Christmas. Not heard anything so far. Phoned for status update & lady said that they are understaffed & working on a backlog, but I should hear back before the court date (!).1

You dont need to request. It is an absolute right. Give the CPR and Lay Rep Act ref.5
