Parking Eye - Retail Parking KFC

Hi,
I have received a PCN the other day from Parking Eye.
It is a retail parking but few places are for kfc customers. There is a sign saying 'kfc customers only' but I have been parking there for over a year now and never received a pcn. They must have started giving pcns recently. Unfortunately I did not enter kfc that day. Any advice? Thanks

Start by reading the sticky thread for NEWBIES then appeal using the template in blue you will find there. The NEWBIES is just underneath where you clicked on the
button.
If/when it is rejected read up on how to make a PoPLA appeal.
Get pics of the site and signage in readiness.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Why are you dumping your car at KFC and presumably going elsewhere/to work? This sort of selfish parking conduct actually causes PPCs to infest car parks.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is a big retail parking (tesco, subway, pets, m&s, aldi etc). From almost a year small area was designed for kfc customers and they must have installed cameras recently. I have been parking my car there for almost 5 years now as its close to entrance/exit, old habit. Just checked signs and it says 1 hour max stay, private property, customer only car park and parking for use only whilst on site. Before there were signs kfc customers only but they were taken off and repleaced by parking eye.
edit. I stayed there for 46minutes0
