Can a survey pick up damp in the summer?

Running a dehumidifier will help to draw the moisture out of the walls. Getting the temperature up in the house will also help. The Acrypol may well have sealed some of the leaks temporarily, giving you time to sort out some proper tradesmen come the spring.
Make a list of jobs that need doing. Tick off the ones you can do yourself, and then set a budget for the remainder. Get a few quotes for the work that you can't/won't do, and take it from there.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Thanks. I do have the budget it’s just finding the actual source of the leak, getting someone around and them doing the job without ripping me of.
I’ve also had a look at next doors house and I’ve noticed they’ve got air bricks. So I will contact a damp specialist who was on this board as the heritage people never got back to me. (I am learning).0 -
