  • A total of £4 found down side of settee, under settee and under dresser whilst hoovering - to the pot! People seem to like leaving money lying about in this house:rotfl: and I love to pick it up for the pot :)

Have been able to pot a reasonable amount over this week- now over £75 in it.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Hope you are taking care Sue-UU.

I managed to pot 4 more £2 coins this week. Its getting difficult to get them though as half my office collect them so I have made friends with the canteen ladies and they keep them for me when they can.

Hope Sue is feeling better and many thanks to her and 32b for running this challenge again.

I am doing things differently this year, I used to get my shopping delivered but now have decided to draw out my weeks food money and physically go to the supermarket to shop, this way I will hopefully grab a few bargains and see what is new foodwise, any change left at the end of the week will go in the pot. I also have my cooking mojo back after many months so am looking forward to cooking from scratch again. I will still use Parsleybox tho for lazy days and as they do not need freezer space I am hoping to defrost it soon.

I also need to work out my budget as I have bits of money coming in weekly, fortnightly, monthly and every 28 days so I get easily confused about what I have coming in as well as going out. I WILL get on top of that this month.

    Good Luck everyone xx:j

What amazing trips you have planned jakes-mum!

I am finding it terribly hard to keep my mouth shut! I've been hiding this since last July :rotfl: Literally everyone knows but him, DD and I are happily planning really awful rubbish birthday presents for him that will give such subtle hints to whats going on he's going to go mad trying to figure it out :rotfl:

DH went to the pub on sunday and brought me home some pennies so into the pot they went :D I've kinda given up counting it, I just split it into its silver, £1 and £2 denominations and chuck it in :o

Now off to make a 50 shaped crossword puzzle tshirt for DH :rotfl:
