It does indeed Hettyhound. The Christmas/new year period seemed to drag this time.

Hello Potters
I feel well and truly back in the working world again and truth be known, I'm very happy about it, but I hate getting up in the dark! My poor old body does not want to drag itself out of my nice warm bed in the mornings. Roll on the spring, I say......
Not much potting happening but I do have £2.86 to pot today. Enjoy the rest of your weekSPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830 -
A further £30 in the pot! Finally got some TCB payouts I’d been waiting for. I would usually just have frittered this away, as it’s paid directly into bank account, but this challenge is making me think more mindfully about my money.
Have a good daySPC13 #059SPC14 #026SPC15 #026SPC16 #026 SPC17 #0260 -

Have a good day
An excellent amount SummerDays. This challenge certainly makes you think more about how you spend (or don't spend) money, doesn't it? Well done.
No potting for me today. I have this week off of work, so have been pottering around at home and having a clearout. Back to work next week though,
Have a great weekend everyone, when it arrives.

I'm taking him for a week in Florida, just the two of us (DS is on house sitting and Dog sitting duties, DD is being palmed off on her gran so copious amounts of ice cream will be consumed) and he has absolutely no idea. He finds out 17 days before we go, on his birthday, I already know what names he will call me :rotfl:
I did contemplate New York but it was more expensive for less timeso we will just have to 'slum it' in Florida :rotfl: I am not sure how i'm going to deal with being away from my baby (the dog :rotfl: ) for a whole week though as this will be the first time for me since we got her  I see many many dog toys being bought whilst away :rotfl:
Still potting away, had a few lovely £2 coins go innot as much as I would like as still squirreling pennies away for DH's surprise as and when I can
Off to find even more stuff to Fleabay, i'm sure there is a corner of the attic I haven't scrambled through yet

What amazing trips you have planned jakes-mum! I haven’t been away for years but my plan is once the mortgage is gone (hopefully around 5-6 years) to start taking my son away for some good experiences. I’ll be stuck with school holiday prices
but don’t plan on “school holiday” type destinations. About 10 years ago I went to Iceland; I’d always wanted to go after seeing John Noakes on Blue Peter visit the bubbling mud fields and geezers when I was little; I wasn’t disappointed :T
Anyway I’ve potted £2.50 which won’t get me very far, especially in Iceland! :eek:SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)0 -
Just popping in to say I have added another few coins to my SPC #13 pot - £9.80 - and I'm planning to deposit all my coins soon as there is no room left in my pot. Either that or I will get a new pot.
