Put more in today. I now have over £85 in it. I prefer to keep a track as it discourages me from taking out of it on a whim when I know how much is in there.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

    Evening all :)

It's been a while since I posted - we've been feeding the tin with spare change as and when we can but but nothing to write home about as January has been, well January! I'm sure you all know what I mean about the joys of this month :o

I have been looking at switching energy/mobile contracts etc and have done fairly well. We will save £36 per month on new contracts and because I used Topcashback to switch 4 mobile contract (for all of us), we're tracking to receive £160 in cash back!

Fully expect it to take forever to be paid, but it will be a nice surprise later in the year :D

Hang on in there people - it's nearly the end of the longest month ever! :rotfl:

    Morning potterssssssssssssssssss

I have been struck down with the lurgy, I honestly thought i'd felt ill before but it has nothing on this. 6am every morning im awake and holding my face as literally every part of it from my top teeth up is agony, its like I've been cage fighting and I guarantee I did NOT win! :O I've never had an illness that actually made my teeth hurt before :(

DH swapped me up a lovely £15 in change from his pub run on Saturday, I also got £5 from a game I play on my ipad! Have downloaded a few where you play the game, watch the ads and after you accumulate enough you get a £5er, thinking they were all probably a scam but the games looked fun, well one game actually did let me reach the magic pay out number AND paid the money in my paypal  So a nice free fiver for me playing a game that I purely downloaded to give me something to do when I was bored :rotfl:

Someone mentioned shoppix, I am on that too :D have already had £20 and am working toward my next £20, I will have a look at the HuYu that was mentioned as I've not heard of that one, still waiting to reach my first £50 YouGov :(

I'm going back to feeling sorry for myself and possibly back to bed, keep potting people

  • Morning,

Potted all my loose change this morning, my purse feels a bit lighter now lol
  • Morning potters

Do you track receipts in ZIPZERO jake's mum? I started in dec and have transferred £21.28 to my energy supplier and have over £8 sat waiting again. I was a bit dubious, but credit showing in my account so seems legit.

I've had a good start to the new year, but need to up my ebay sales. I think jan a slow month for everyone so i've not listed anything so far this year and just redone the old ones from last year that didn't sell. I don't really use cash, so majority of my potting comes from extra income which would easy be swallowed up in everyday living with 2 teenagers.

    Progress so far :
CASH in sealed pot bank account
EBay - £36.15 after all fees
    Quidco - £6.22
    Zipzero - £21.28

    AMAZON VOUCHERS
Snapmyeats Dec paid £5 amazon voucher, have enough points for £5 in jan too. Total £10

    WORKING PROGRESS
RH - 1347 coins (need min 1500 for £5, but saving for £20 which is 5300
    Shoppix - 6395 tokens (6000 = £10, but again saving for £20 11500)
ZIPZERO - £8.75 cleared, 26p pending - will transfer when over £20 again and move cash to sealed pot
    Huyu - 385 points - need 500 for payout
Prolific - £1.50 cleared, £3.30 pending - will transfer over when £5 min reached and move to sealed pot
One poll - £4.25 cleared but long way to go for £25 min pay out
    Finally Debt Free 24/4/2023
  • Potted about £4ish from the bottom of my bag today.
