I'm going to a meeting in an hour's time (BORING) that I'll then be stuck at for the remainder of the day

I have been out for the day on my own! I went shoe shopping in York. The best part was I wasn't spending my own money. I took my Christmas money from my parents and my Nan and bought 2 pairs of Faith boots (buy one get one half price) and a pair of ankle boots from Barrats (£10 off). I then got myself a Radley purse coz I have wanted one for ages. So I have blown £170 today but all it cost me was my £13 train fare. It was worth it to have the afternoon with no husband and no kids.

Snaggles - the meeting wasn't as bad as I'd feared but it sure was boring!

Mrs S - great news on the spends. How's your course work coming along? Are you back on MSE or just popping in between assignments?

I had a good day - won a holiday in the USA! Between celebrating that and being busy at work, I still had to find the time to phone both my loan ocmpany and my gym to say, "Can't pay those bills you've sent - cna we come to an arrangement" which they agreed to. So happy!

Came home to £600 worth of bills to be paid in the next 14 days - whic hI can't afford. Anyhow, that's taken the shine off a brilliant day. I should be jumping up and down but I'm more worried sick with cash.

The irony isn't lost on me - a £4K holiday prize yet I'm having to come to payment arrangements over bills!

I just had a surprise call from my big brother, he's in town and popping in for a drink. I hardly ever see him so I'm dead excited :T

Today is my son's and hubby's birthday so I'll crack open a bottle I think

I budgetted £150 spends this weekend (it was a big weekend!) and returned home with more than half of it Very impressed with myself and still had a wicked time
