  • I'm off work sick today! I spent the weekend floored by a cold, but how was I to know when I rang in sick at 6am this morning that I would be feeling so much better today??? I almost feel guilty LOL!

I've had a long luxurious soak in the bath - and I didn't even have to lock the door LOL and I'm sat here doing both lots of nails. Then I'm gonna sit down and read and watch back-to-back Ugly Betty til 3pm when I go to get the kids.

Do you know, this is the first day in 4.5 years that I have had a day off and there have been no children around!!

  • Hmmm, now I have a dilemma - should I go for bright red fingernails, or black with red glitter over them?

:j But in a brighter note, I've just been to the dentist for my check up and it was FREE!!! When did that happen? I've only just found an NHS dentist after 4 years of paying sodding Denplan for not needing any treatment but I'm sure the last time I was NHS I had to pay. Not complaining though.

You lucky thing - when I had my check up it cost me £15.90! I need two fillings but I have had to put them off til after Xmas.

IF, don't feel guilty - you prob still need the time to recover properly.

I am doing loads of work at home today - so trying (in vain) to restrict the amount of time I spend on here - so far am doing quite well, but must keep going!!
