Morning all... hope everyone is well this morning.
I'm exhausted.. had possibly the worst night EVER with the girls. They woke each other up about 1am and then it was literally a case of up/down/up/down/up/down ALL night. Absolutely shattered and not impressed.. and because of that Ste has given me my xmas prssie early..:eek: Only a 5 STRING BASS  It's gorgeous!!!! Has definatley cheered me up.... now just need a miracle anti tiredness pill....
Oh and our bargain tesco beer order arrived this morning thanks to the hotukdeals site... (think it was on the grabbit board on here too..) 2 cases/12 bottles of lambrini.. and a case/6 bottles of red wine for MIL.. inc postage... £8.30....:eek:

All in all a great day so far.. if you discount the night... :rotfl:

I-A you and Steve are such children! Couldn't he wait until Christmas???? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

(ses me, who was begging DD to let me take her shopping for a pressie for her:o )

BTW I used to threaten the children that I'd staple their jamas to the mattress if they didn't stay in their beds.

    Morning! Dull day in Blackpool....

Do you think you'll be able to grab half an hour's kip on the sofa with the girls later on I-A? Or will you be playing with your pressie?!

Nothing much to report....plenty of work to do but no motivation :D Think I may take half a day this week to get organised for xmas - DF's bro coming up from Guildford on Sat night & is collecting his daughter's 21st present so we don't have to post 6 champagne glasses! They've got DF's parents staying for xmas so I need to get shopping & wrapping so he can take their pressies too!

do we get a piccy of the bass sar? I'm hinting for yet another new kit, but seeing as the one I want is £22,000 I don't think I'll get it:rotfl: In fairness hubby did say I could have it if I sold one of my kits, but I like them both. I could sell his I guess :D

No, it's a custom made Noble & Cooley. Professional kits are bloody expensive. We've got 3 between us, one studio kit and one touring kit each, plus I've got the congas and a bit of percussion stuff. All together they are insured with the cymbals and hardware for £98,000. So, be warned when ste starts touring. The best thing to do is get an endorsement, then you get freebies (which is what we did) but sadly N&C won't give me a free kit :(.

Nice looking bass sar, it matches Fran's kit, he loves green.

  • Morning all,

I hardly slept last night either. Nothing keeping me up but I've been sleeping badly for the last couple of weeks now. Not good.

:j But in a brighter note, I've just been to the dentist for my check up and it was FREE!!! When did that happen? I've only just found an NHS dentist after 4 years of paying sodding Denplan for not needing any treatment but I'm sure the last time I was NHS I had to pay. Not complaining though.

Lots to do today but can't be bothered. I think I'll maybe have a look at whether I can reclaim any PPI then head back to bed for an hour or five.:j
