Must have a simple answer shirley.

My sil has asked me to transfer the photos on her Apple iPhone to her laptop which runs on Windows.

I thought it would be simple but can't seem to get it to happen.

What am I not doing??
It's your money. Except if it's the governments.

Can you put google photos on the IpHoNe?
Then you could see them on your google a/c on the laptop and d/l if needed or just leave them 'in the google cloud'

I *think* you used to be able to log into icloud.com, but not sure if that is possible.

You can do it in iTunes by syncing photos

Enable the iCloud Photos option in the "Photos" section of Settings, then log into iCloud.com and download them from there.

    Ah, found it.

    Plug phone into Windows computer.
    Switch on phone.

Screen on phone shows question ' do you allow photos/videos to transfer' or something similar.
    Click Allow.

    Off you go.

    Easy?

Just a few hundred photos - how long would that take?
