Successful POPLA Appeal

Hello all,
I have received a parking charge notice from first parking today.
The driver forgot to pay for parking on that particular day. I have attached a censored version of the PCN below. The issue date was a week ago.
Is there any case or defense?

Also, apologies if I've broken any forums rules or such. I looked at the Newbies thread before posting. I haven't appealed or done anything yet. Somebody will be going to the University parking to take pictures of the signage tomorrow.

NEWBIES - HOW TO UPLOAD LINKS TO PHOTOS/SCANS TO MSE

To upload a photo/scan link, you first need to host it on a free photo hosting site (like Dropbox, Imurg or Tinypic), copy the URL, paste it here, but change the http to hxxp and we'll do the conversion. Newbies can't directly upload links to photos/scans until they've a few posts under their belt.


Oh ... and using a phone to browse the site can cause problems.. so please try a laptop/PC

Hi, thanks for the response. Would the newbies appeal template regarding the PDT Machine and Overstay of minutes be valid to use in a case where the driver has forgotten to pay the tariff?
The parking place has a PDT Machine and ANPR and also the option to pay the tariff via an app.

Just send the appeal as is, no additions, deletions or modifications.

Yes it is deliberately a 'one size fits all' template. It is not meant to cover the details of what really happened and is mainly designed:

(a) to stop numpties writing their own and blabbing about who parked, and
(b) to get a POPLA code where a proper appeal from the keeper can be tried, and
(c) to send a subliminal message to the PPC ''I am not a victim and I won't be paying you any money or making this process easy for you, as I am on MSE and we know you will recognise this template appeal''.
