Absolutely no reason to spend ANY money today! I’ve got a friend coming for coffee this morning, then I’m out for a dog walk later, and popping out to see another friend this evening, all free and enjoyable things to do. Back at work tomorrow so that should be a NSD day too. Always find it easy not to spend on a work day!
Have a great day everyone xxx
Fantastic effort Happy Monday and have a lovely (free) day
:T:T I've got you on 11/12 now - woohoo, so close to target! 0 -

Again, no plans to spend today, aside from my £2 yoga class but I don't count that as it's all budgeted/planned for at the start of the month.
Brilliant Speky, keep it up, you're really notching them up at this end of the month
:T:TWell done on the yoga - I do a little bit but should do more, it's so good for you. 0 -

I'm on 12 today, but have decided to raise my target to 15 because we have 10 whole days of November to go and I'm sure I can do at least three days in that time. I should really have made it 15 to start with - I was away in October, which is why I went for 10 then. So no reason not to set a slightly higher target for November.
Shopaholicnumber1, did you get your NSD yesterday? ...

Hi cathybird - yes I did! :j Should have a few more to come as have no plans to dust off the debit card any time soon but won't get giddy and count them just yet! This No Spending thing becomes strangely addictive! I can't believe how well we have all done this month - go NSDers!:TMortgage: £81,154.58 (03/19) - £54,849 (02/24)0

Yay shopaholicnumber1, brilliant news and well done on reaching target
:T:T:j:j:A It's always good to beat your target too! If you get to 20 you get a halo

Happy_Monday wrote: »Thanks for your ideas Wishus and Cathybird, much appreciated. I do enjoy exercising and have a few weights at home, and I have a subscription to on on line fitness programme which I do, and I’ve also just joined an organised running club, which is only £2.00 per run. I had thought about park run and will definitely give that a go. I have been thinking about doing yoga at home as well so will investigate that too.
I was having a mooch round the charity shops today and noticed a few jigsaws, I thought about doing that too. I love reading too and must get my kindle out.
Thank you for all your suggestions xxx
If you have an ereader, then you may be able to access free e-books from your local library - I can with Northamptonshire libraries.
Also, I have access to Pressreader through that for magazines.
Tuesday was another NSD - on 8 now.:TKeep reading books!
August grocery challenge Budget £150. Spent so far: £98.49. Remaining: £51.510 -

That's a brilliant suggestion, wishus - I'm going to look into that. I have the feeling e-books at the library can be read on laptops as well? I'm sure I read something that way a couple of years ago. I think I had to download some software to do it though. I'm going to see if I can work out what I did!
Well done on 8/10
