Happy_Monday wrote: »Thanks for your ideas Wishus and Cathybird, much appreciated. I do enjoy exercising and have a few weights at home, and I have a subscription to on on line fitness programme which I do, and I’ve also just joined an organised running club, which is only £2.00 per run. I had thought about park run and will definitely give that a go. I have been thinking about doing yoga at home as well so will investigate that too.
I was having a mooch round the charity shops today and noticed a few jigsaws, I thought about doing that too. I love reading too and must get my kindle out.
Thank you for all your suggestions xxx
Exercise is great and can be really cheap, and it makes such a difference to mood too, at this time of year especiallyParkrun means spending time outside too, which is even better.
I love my Kindle too and there are lots of 99p bargains to be had0 -
This is the point in the month where I get worried about people who have set high targets and will have to work super-hard to get there with only 11 days left in the month ... just wanted to say, if you don't reckon you'll get there, it's still good to rack up a few more NSDs - please don't give up! Any NSD is better than none.
Hang in there! It's worth it

Keep plodding everyone
Yes I've done a few challenges on MSE over the years and have often seen people set high targets, start with a bang and then get discouraged and stop, which is such a great shame - just hang in there, do what you can, and then set a lower target next month - there's no shame in it and giving up is so much worse. Not saying anyone here is going to do that, at least I hope not! But I've seen it happen a lot.
