Hi everyone, just checking in with my first NSD of the month. Was nearly derailed by a cake sale at work but I managed to resist and this is good not only for my purse but for my waistline too! Aiming for 1 NSD this weekend. Food shopping and a night out planned for Saturday but hoping to keep costs down as much as I can.

borollan, is this food shopping mostly? ... I used to do the same but have managed to cut down a lot. This challenge really helps since there is a deli near me selling tempting treats that I now manage to avoid quite a lot of the time!0 -
Borollan and cathybird, I’m a terrible daily food shopper......or should I say I was hopefully the NSD challenge will help me rein in the daily spends. My weakness is yellow labelled food, I just love a bargain and my freezer is full to bursting.
Picked up some cracking bargains at my local co op today, two pieces of boneless lamb breast reduced from over £8.00 to £3.53 each, these will go in the slow cooker later. Broccoli, carrots, potatoes and green beans which will be lovely with the lamb. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it
Definitely on for a no spend day tomorrow x0 -

My weakness is more cinnamon buns and chocolate treats lolAnd random ice cream in the summer, luckily not a problem in November. I try to get my grocery shop out the way once a month now, so between that and this thread hopefully I won't be tempted
