Thanks Beanie for the new thread. Happy with the new thread title but I'll actually only be around until early December as off to Goa for a couple of week All Inclusive. Hoping to get to bottom end again by the end of the month - but in order to do that I've got to stop losing the plot mid week!

It's WI this morning and if I get STS I'll be lucky, expecting a gain after my syn binge on Tuesday!

Back later with menu plan and WI result.

  • Thanks Beanie for setting us up for the run into Christmas!

Who is it that like orange smarties, Bubbs or Beanie, saw boxes of them in Poundland the other evening!

I'm with Denise today, majorly oversynned on Tuesday, if I STS, will be happy with that, but bracing myself for a gain :(
A smile costs little but creates much :)
  • Thank you beanie for sorting out our new thread :). Must knuckle down rest of this week. I have fallen into the habit of having a bit of a choc fest after WI on a Tuesday using a lot of syns, and then having to be very careful the rest of the week 🙄. Things we do to sabotage ourselves ggggrrrrrr. Going grocery shopping after WI is probably not helping, so next week will try to go on Monday instead and plan a more SW friendly ‘treat’ for after WI.

To get to a healthy BMI is 12.5lbs away at the moment. My 6st award is 10lbs away. Get on with it woman!!

Good luck all in the run up to Christmas, lets lose some lbs 💪💪💪!!!

GTQ I'm pretty certain it's Beanie who likes the Smarties!

Good luck PIB in getting your 6 stone award, you can do it by Christmas if you stick at it and back into a healthy BMI by the end of the year. Good idea to change your shopping day so you can have something healthy as a treat rather than sabotaging yourself on WI day!

If you have a sweet tooth try making some sweet treats - I've made cherry clafoutis is week which is a nice sweet treat. You can eat the whole lot for 3 or 3.5 Syns (depending on how much sweetener you use). If you don't mind synning some chocolate I like curly wurly after it's been in the freezer. It lasts absolutely ages for 6 syns (or 3 for a treat sized one!).

I was absolutely gobsmacked when I got on the scales this morning - I've lost 1.5lb this week and I've absolutely no idea how. Certainly wasn't deserved but I'll take it and run. Means I'm nearly at bottom end again.

    Today's plan:

    B - tasters at group - 3 syns
    L - LO lasagne (synned yesterday) - F;P;S
    D - faggots, mash & cabbage P;S;F

    HEA - milk
HEB - no idea - maybe a couple of hifi bars
    Syns - tasters 3; G&T?

    Denise

    Don't encourage her!:naughty:;)

Well done on getting a loss denise.:T Sometimes I can't see a logic in SW.:)

Yesterday went a bit haywire so I ended up grabbing some fruit in the evening on my way out instead of having dinner. DH was happy to get himself something. I thought I might have something later but wasn't really hungry so didn't bother. So today's menu looks a bit like yesterday's.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porage with HEA1 milk
L: lentil and veg soup (S/P)
D: SW Bolognese (S,P) with tagliatelle (F) and HEA2 Parmesan
