Do you never even watch TV on your laptop/computer/phone? Just asking because that's very impressive if not! I don't have a TV but I do watch stuff on my devices sometimes, so I have a TV licence so I can watch BBC.0

Indeed, but that is iplayer, other catch up services don't require it.
In anycase, that is an issue for the OP and TVL, not the agent or the landlord.0 -
The clause is there because the LL assumes everyone has a TV or watches online, and wants it clear that the tenant is responsible, not the LL.
It is misplaced as
a) it'a matter between occupier and TVL and
b) not everyone has a TV and
c) it's unenforcible
Just ignore it.0 -

It's not that impressive. There's a plethora of other things to watch nowadays without going anywhere near the BBC's muddy portals.mrsjanebanbury2009 wrote: »Do you never even watch TV on your laptop/computer/phone? Mind you, I only discovered this in 2013, when this backwater I live in was finally able to give me a connection that would support moving pictures! :rotfl:0 -
And I guess that the clause does not require you to prove to anyone that you have one in any case, just that you are obliged to have one.The clause is there because the LL assumes everyone has a TV or watches online, and wants it clear that the tenant is responsible, not the LL.
