MET Stansted Mcdonald - Urgent help needed

Hi,
I have read the newbie thread but my situation is quite complex, and I did not find an answer to this problem.
Unfortunately, I have been given two penalty tickets at Stanstead Mcdonal, The first one beings with AB and was issued on 16/10/2019 (Date of incident 11/10/2019) for staying longer than 30 minutes. I didn't know they had changed the allowed period from 60 minutes to 1 hour.

The second PCN is for the same incident (11/10/2019) but this is fro returning after 56 minutes rather than after the minimum return period which was 240 minutes.

Now, the PCN arrived late and the first one has is demanding £60 as I still have today to appeal or pay. However, the second PCN is demanding the full £100 as today was the 14th day.

I haven't challenged them yet so i haven't told them whether I am the driver (which I am) or not. Since you have wealth of experience, What do you guys Advise?

(1) Do you think i can possibly get them to cancel any?
(2) or get them to reduce the £100 to £50?

Thank you so much in advance!

That looks about the same time window to me.

You must complain to the BPA about this. MET’s own facts speak for themselves.

You may be referred to a ‘contact us’ portal of their website, if so, use that.

Sorry, I have been reading a lot of these threads and my mind is almost numb. However, It changed from 60 minutes to 30 minutes>

So do I challenge or pay any of them now especially as 1 of them is still within 14 days?

    Thank you Umkomaas

The keeper should appeal using the already written for you, one size fits all, blue template appeal easily found in post #1 of the NEWBIES thread.

Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations needed.

    Send it as the keeper.

And of course complain to the car park owner - McDs.

    That's it... easy.

    Thank you KeithP,

In the Appeal form do I put my correct person details including address? as they require it for me to submit it.

Also, Should I appeal both of them?

Final Question, What could I possibly say to the McDs manager to get them to cancel it as I have two PCNs for the same incident one for over staying and the other for returning too quickly, Any suggestions?

Why wouldn’t you? What do you imagine might happen if you don’t provide it?
Also, Should I appeal both of them?
Where are you time-wise in terms of your 28-day window for appeal? If there’s more than a week available, hit the BPA with your complaint. Did you miss that advice?

The PCN was issued on 16/10/2019 and 15/10/2019. So, I have a week for both. I am not quite sure what to email steve.c@britishparking.co.uk. Should i complain about receiving to PCN for the same incident despite them being for different reasons? i.e One is for staying for too long and the other for returning too quickly. Please advise me.

    Thank you!

28 days from the earliest of those two dates is more than a week away. I make it 12th November, two weeks away.

    ?
That seems to me to be the crux of the matter. They can’t have two goes for the same date.

So I should challenge them both today, and send an email to BPA or should i wait for BPA response and then challenge them?

I genuinely appreciate you help. Thank you!

Get the BPA involved in the first instant, but if they’re tardy in replying, don’t miss the parking firm’s deadline. Appeal each PCN as a separate entity at the moment.

MET aren’t any great problem, but you need to go through every hoop to shake them off.
