MET Parking are part of the BPA so you could try a complaint to the BPA (Steve Clarke) and tell them MET are refusing your right of appeal and you did not receive a POPLA code.

Thank you, should i mention in the email anything about missing the deadline or the reason for their refusal to provide a popla code?

    Hey,

I contacted Steve and he replied saying that MET said 'as it is the season of good will, should the driver wish to appeal we have placed the case on hold for 14 days so that they may do so. Alternatively, the keeper can provide the details of the driver'

I appealed using the blue template again without mentioning who the driver was. However, met refused to accept it saying it's out of the 28 days deadline. Thus, i contacted Steve again, and he replied saying MET advised him that i did neither of those was therefore not acting in the same spirit of goodwill. He then said he won't be taking further actions and he has closed the case.

What do you guys think i should do?

    Thank you!

Did you appeal exactly as per the instructions shown on the MET NtK? Did you provide your name and address (as the registered keeper)?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Thank you,

Yes, so i used the exact same method i.e going online and completing the online form. I provided my name and address, and then used the blue template. Everything was done as registered keeper.

When Steve replied he had the word driver underlined which i think is implying that i should've appealed the second time as the driver rather than registered keeper. Which is quite unfair if he is trying to get me trapped.

That is not in the spirit of goodwill.

Send Steve a link to this thread; we are not impressed at this gamesmanship and it paints the BPA in a really bad light, especially on non 'relevant land' where knowing the driver is what the scammers want.

This makes me think the BPA are as bad as the IPC.

Luckily, MET are useless and never sue anyone, AND at 'non relevant land' like an airport, the keeper is untouchable, as MET and Steve Clark know.

So the keeper is not trapped. The driver would have been though.

Nothing will happen but Steve Clark, we feel this is utterly underhand of the BPA and you should feel embarrassed at trying to help MET get the driver's details.

Hmmm, 'goodwill my bum' = aka pathetic disingenuous scamming.
