Not sure there's much value in anyone hypothesising about this in the absence of info about which CU and whether there is such a stipulation in the actual product Ts & Cs, but if it's just a standard field on an application form then it can probably be completed with the applicant's own details or 'none' or 'N/A' or similar....Did anyone else's credit union ask for next-of-kin details in the application? What about people who don't have next-of-kin? Seems a strange T&C (if indeed it is a T&C) to discriminate against people who are completely alone in the world and have no living relatives.0 -

Good point, the odds will be better than that assuming not everyone has the max in.
