The phone is meant to be £199 on that tariff for a 12 month contract. You'd have to pay for voice directions (vocal directions), but map directions are free.

Just to clarify, if the phone is supplied with co-pilot this is an all-in-one satnav system like tomtom and actually works with the in-built GPS and includes voice direction in the program just like tomtom.

    copilot

It's only the Nokia Maps program in the phone that need the extra paying for routing and voice directions.

the £9 is for the video package you get 90 video call minutes...which I used to have but got it knocked on the head as I don't use vidoe minutes...it's called haggling...:Ddon't forget quidco cashback which is quite alot I believe...:D

Pls be nice to all MSer's

So you haggled online and got a £9 reduction, (since u mentioned quidco) fair play! But how did u manage to do it? Did they offer u a custom webpage or what? Cos the link u submitted still shows the phone @ £9 per month.

Sorry for the questions, I'm just trying to figure out how you haggled and kept the transaction online whilst ALSO getting quidco:confused:
  • I did not get quidco...
I am an extisting 3 customer...
I ran 3 on 333 free from my handset when I was due an up-grade on the saturday before the monday that they changed there tariff...you used to have to pay £50 for the handset + £12 for the video package + whatever package you wanted for the mins and texts so I went with the 900 package which is 750 x-mins and 150 texts but told them I didn't want the £12 video package because I wouldn't use them so for me it was a waste of time and money so that give £12 discount each month as it used to be £12 amonth for the video package so I now pay just £28 amonth...
I only mentioned quidco cos I have seen it on there for cashback so if you go with quidco you'll get up to £80 cashback....another saving when you order the phone online they will ring you...to confirm who you are and let you know which day your phone will arrive usually 24 hours after the phone call then when you ask them to knock off the £9 video package if you don't think you'll use them the contract is for 18 months which suit's me but then you'll get another up-grade which you can actually have 2 months early before your contract is up with another contract...or money knocked off your tariff if you don't want an up-grade incidently you have to pay for the sat nav with the phone...that's a monthly extra...:mad:which I don't agree with...but all in all I have been with 3 for 4 years and cannot fault them...:Dhope this helps :Dthe only down side to 3 is 3 months before your contract is up they ring you and ring you and ring you all the time to up-grade...

    *UPDATE*

after getting my cancellation email, i decided to phone them up to see what i could get, as i needed a new web'n'walk contract anyway.

i was offered an N95 without copilot for the same price.

    thats 12 month contract.
£20 for the flext 25 pack
    £7.50 for web'n'walk

for the original £35 upfront and £27.50 contract.

i didnt need the copilot anyway, i already have tomtom :)

    RESULT!
(apparently you need your original order number as a reference)
  • I got the same offer.... I am pondering it as the Three offer is also V Good.

The guy I spoke to said that no-one received a N95 on the 12month contract with Co-pilot for £29.99... But that could be fibs to save face...
