I did thanks!! My friend is the industry leading expert in his field and has experience of LBA and SSC, so was a big help

Reporting back with a 100% refund. Still trying for compensation, but in reality thats probably pushing it.......

That doesn't change anything? I must admit I am skeptical of the Airbnb part of the refund - given thats 25-30+% more than they took for the booking from the owner. But if they have done as you say then congratulations.

The owner does sound like there is a second side to this story too though - they're not threatening you, just saying that if you persevere they will comment on you likewise.

On that basis I would recommend you stay VERY factual. Even calling the host a 'liar' cannot be proven in a review.

50 hours - you could make a Netflix Drama based on it... like 24 but a modern version based on each hour... 10 episodes a series, 5 series... would set you up for life.
