Again, pics would be helpful so we can ensure you're looking at the right thing. For example, there should be four screws to affix the oven front to the cabinet.

Wh not pull the oven out a few inches so you can exactly where the screw holes are and whether they are still viable.

There are only 2 holes on the front of our double oven.

Well you did say 'we' in your 1st post. Can your partner/cohabiter/friend pull the oven out enough to see more clearly what the screws might be able to attach to?

Your best bet is to get a handyman in. Then try getting AO to pay. But the main thing is to make it safe.

Do you have friends who could help? It’s not a big job. 5 or 10 minutes.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

AO have agreed to contribute £45 towards getting someone in to fit the oven properly
I have no idea where to start looking for a fitter - that doesn't want to try to sell us a new oven !

Have a search locally for a handyman, it's not going to be a skilled job.

All they probably need is a toolbox with a screwdriver and two long thin screws with small heads. You are overthinking this. :)

You may be correct - I always overthink everything...

It's good to plan ahead, but sometimes things really are as simple as they appear at first glance. :)
