Bosch Oven loose

We had a new Bosch oven supplied and fitted by AO.COM about 6 months ago
It appears to be loose (The whole oven pulls forwards with ease)- there are two screw heads near the top on both sides (with the oven door open) - these don't have heads as such !
How do we refit the oven back into the housing ?
or do we call out AO ?
The model is Bosch HBN331E4B

You say there are screw heads but they don't have heads. Can you clarify what you mean please.
  • So it's a built in oven that slots into a tall kitchen unit or under counter unit and whoever fitted it didn't screw it into the unit to ensure it was retained.

You might wish to screw it into the unit, although this:

"there are two screw heads near the top on both sides (with the oven door open) - these don't have heads as such !"

    doesn't make much sense.

The installation instructions are available here:

Have a look at page 5, and you will see that there are two screws suppiled with the oven that should have been used to secure it in the housing.

It's clearly extremely dangerous to use the oven if it is not secured, as it and the hot contents could fall out onto someone.

It's up to you whether you secure it or call AO, but you probably want to use black screws, as bright screws will look rather odd. You could use bright ones temporarily, of course.

Probable translation, "there are two screw holes near the top on both sides (with oven door open) - these do not have any screws inserted"

Should be in manual that was left?

Either find 2 suitable screws and do it yourself, or get a handyman to. The job takes less time than posting a paragraph here.

Sorry - I meant "No slots in screw heads" - just a round hole !
Allen keys just turn - doing nothing

Are you sure that there’s a screw there? Could you post a photo?

There are screws there - just pushed in - not even screwed up !
It looks as if they are supposed to screw into missing blocks of wood ?

If there is nothing for the screws to bite into it's not AO's problem, although I would say that the installers should have told you. You need to check to see if there is anything for the screws to attach to. With the power off, and using two people, you can ease the oven out of the housing just a couple of inches. That will be enouth to see if there is anything there. It might be as simple as needing longer screws. It's also possible that the old oven used thicker screws and the hole is over size for the new ones. Without a bit of detective work you aren't going to find the answer.
