So a thermostatic bath mixer with shower attachment rather than a standalone shower. Whats the hot water like from the basin taps?

The same . Not great ..
  • Shower working ok today . Bizarre .
  • Today to be brief , the boiler is flashing on 0.2 cannot be reset after trying . I phoned the company who I pay boiler cover to and have an Emergency engineer due between 2-6pm.
I was read terms and conditions including possibly having to pay engineer call out fee if not deemed an emergency .

I think the boiler is under 15 yesrs old ..just .
I have a feeling that if I keep the boiler , I may have to pay for a big chemical flush which will cost .
If I have to pay call out fee, and not deemed an emergency , then my question is why are they still taking my monthly payments ?
They know and should know the age and history of the boiler since I moved in a couple of years ago .
Maybe it's best to get a new boiler after all .
The last Emergency engineer would be surprised it's lasted since he came in October . He said it wouldn't .

You might save money by dealing direct with Glowworm. They offer annual servicing and a fixed price call out which covers most parts.
