OK, the NTK has arrived on cue after the 28 days. The usual fluff,"this supercedes xxxxxx", "you must pay or name the driver".


So the wrong vrm, check the photo & re-issue.

"I'm responding to NTK ref xxxxxxx.
As the original NTD had a different VRN to that of the vehicle, you have failed to meet the requirements of PoFA 2012 schedule 4 para. 8 in that the windscreen ticket should 'specify the vehicle'.


Therefore I am under no obligation to name the driver & will not be doing so, & will not respond to any further communication asking for the drivers details from yourselves or debt collection agencies.


I require you to cancel this charge immediately & remove my personal data from your systems within 21 days.

I was thinking of throwing in a warning about misuse of data, but just want them to go away.


I've seen other wrong vrn cases recently, I think the next step is a further begging letter then cancellation.

Equally, you could say, as they are calling the postal NTK the first PCN and the other PCN a nullity, then the postal PCN arrived too late to comply with the POFA para 9 either.

According to them, they know who the driver is albeit not by name.

Complain to the DVLA that the scammers have failed the PoFA with the different VRNs on the NTD and NTK, therefore had no business obtaining keeper data which is a KADOE contract breach.

I don't suppose you took screen grabs of the incorrect details on the scammers website/payment portal as well as the two documents do you?
