I seem to have an endless supply of junk. Most of the garden and garage stuff has gone now. Quite a lot of Collectable bits and bo bs I've inherited left and stacks of toys and children's stuff. I've been lucky that the bits I've sold have been of decent value so far. It's going to get to a point where I'll be better doing a car boot. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20231

I've still got quite a lot of bits and bobs to sell. Some of it just isn't worth putting on auction sites and is more suited to car boot as postage so expensive. I'm back sorting and listing today and put 4 coats and jackets that my daughter has outgrown. I have had a couple more small sales and the Xmas pot is sat at £972.22 - so close to hitting the £1000 again.
It feels great having got rid of the credit card, but still feel like it's one step forward two back. It's slow going and I'm getting frustrated I won't be able to pay anything extra on the loans. This month is a bit of a right off and im
hoping to scrap to the end of the month without hitting the overdraft too hard.My car is in for its mot with service next week and I think it needs work on the brakes. Just hoping it's not as bad as I think as the budget is tight as it is.Still need to order school shoes but currently not showing stock of the ones my eldest daughter wants. Hoping both in stock to save me paying postage.Definitely feeling blurgh today and not feeling the love! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
Snap on MOT & brakes next week.

Hi tea, good to see you're still posting. I've had a complete break away from the computer especially the sellling. It's been heaven spending done time with the children. Had a few days out and about all on a budget abs visited some family too.
Have bought the school shoes - ouch, car passed the mot but needed tyre and wiper with service £370 orchid ouch!
hubby and I have sat today and done our budget for September. I'm hoping to get £500 saved towards more house repairs quote total £1155! Plan is pinch the £155 out Xmas fund and last £500 to be put back in the 0% credit card again! I know this time that we'll concentrate on paying it off ASAP!House insurance quote was £188 but got an identical quote with save company online £104.68 abd it should track £60 cashback. Have paid in one go, so should save them the £10ish a month DD.Finally Debt Free 24/4/20231 -
Hi CG
I always feel better for a break from the laptop as well even if it's just a couple of days. I'm far more productive when I don't turn it on lol. That's a good saving on the house insurance. I need to sort the rest of DS's uniform out this week, just shirts and shoes so not too bad and I have a uniform pot that should cover it. Have a good week. xx

Screen time just takes over if you're not careful. I've been trying to reduce my social media and use my time more constructively selling in covid. I think i'm just stick of it all at the minute. Have a nightmare buyer on eBay who is constantly messaging about a refund grrrr!
ive got a uniform pot too - thanks to you. We've got away very lightly this year. Shoes £124, shirts £42.50 and special y11 tie £6. All budgeted for which is fab. The pot is empty so no extra Clothing treats for the teenagers for a while!

Hi CG
Yes, I can pop on for 5 mins and an hour (or two!) later I'm still there.
You really can't beat a pot especially when it's for something like school uniform. I don't mind splashing the cash on exciting things, not that I do anything exciting, but I really don't like handing money over for mundane stuff.I've cut back on DS's uniform until I know exactly what's happening so he's just having trousers, shirts and shoes, not that he needs anything else really.
Hope you get the eBay buyer sorted out. Have a lovely evening. xx0
