Thanks beanie, you too. The weather is fab and has definitely lifted the mood in the house.
Yesterday was a huge food shop day And I've been meal planning which I think is the answer to cutting my budget.
I stood and made a huge batch of spag Bol sauce with 1kg low fat mince and stacks of veg and 3 huge tinned tomatoes. Has made 10 (will feed 4) freezer bags for lazy but healthy dinners. Hid courgette and celery in there too. It cost about £9 for ingredients I bought yesterday and things that needed using up in fridge. It's a family favourite and a good standby instead of takeaway.
Im having a day off listing and sorting sale things. It's so draining day free day. I've had few more sales on eBay and a big ticket item which is being collected this morning. I've got 5 parcels to wrap up, pay fees and move profit to Xmas pot. Trying not to think about it until figures are done, but I pretty sure I've hit £1000! Not getting excited yet as need to make sure! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
So chuffed....buzzing!
Have totted, tallied and wrapped the eBay stuff and moved the profit across to my sealed pot and the grand total is £1022.26. So pleased can't believe that's £1000 of extra income since New year.I have another item that is still waiting for payment, it drives me mad! Why bid at the last minute then leave it days to pay.
My plan was to move anything extra I made over the £1k to pay off the credit card. That's all 0% and the minute so will keep selling until I have enough to clear it In one hit. I'm trying to make overpayments on my regular £50 - like cash saved on kid's phones. My aim
is to get it gone by 1/12/20 - 4 pay days and £645 to go!
The plan for today is another NSD and housework! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
That's AMAZING.
Well done.

Thanks beanie, I love challenge especially when it making the house easier to clean. Have had a break over last few days, but need to wrap another 2 bits of clothing that's sold. Not much to report from yesterday - was another NSD abd the child benefit was paid in. Squirrelled into away into the saving pots as planned.
I'm going to pack some loft boards today so I can use the joists in my garage for storage. We've got a stack of camping stuff, sledges are random stuff that I could put up there. Trying to create some space to put my ever growing car boot stash that's hidden around the house. Think I'll need 4 packs to do the width but budget running short so will have to get 2 and do one side. Will wait until I get paid around 24th to get the others. Normally I'd have bought what we needed and not worried about running into our OD by the end of the month. It's taken long enough but I think we're officially budgeting. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
Didn't get chance to update yesterday, as it's been the usual manic end of term rush.Went to my local b&q to get the loft boards and they had no stock. They couldn't say when they were getting more in, so was disappointed. Had a quick mooch around and found a reduced pack of laminate flooring for the bargain price of £6. It's covered a larger area and will do the job just as well, but cheaper!Ebay has been going mad over the last 36hours will the kid's lego lots finishing today. Have got to wrap them all and move the cash across. I got notification from quidco that my cashback from the gas/electric switch has been confirmed. Have clicked to withdraw so that's another £91.18 on it's way to paypal. So pleased summer is finally here now that the kid's have finished school. Have nothing planned next week, so we'll take the chance to chill out and try declutter some more junk! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230

Thanks beanie, I've had the most amazing sleep last night abd didn't wake up until 10am! Feeling so motivated have got my old clothes on and we're going to dig out the garage. We've got 4 racks which need sorting. One side will be keep, the other will be sell! Going to make the most of the 2% ebay selling fees and get as much as I can listed! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230

Busy, busy day in the garden and garage. I spent too long gardening and only pottered in the garage. I did have a quick sort out abd listed few bits of higher value on eBay. I've got a load of stuff to stick on local selling page, but ran out of time. I did sell a couple of bits I'd listed last week, so moved the £26 across to the pot.Have had few more bits sell on eBay so I need to get that wrapped and posted Monday. I've not moved the last lump of profit yet, so looking forward to adding a decent chunk to the pot. It feels great seeing all the junk go abd cash come inFinally Debt Free 24/4/20230

I'm just loving the fact the house seems bigger lol and cash a definate bonus. What a busy week - sell sell sell!I've made £27 on local selling sites today so have moved that across. I've also spent an hour packaging up the bits that sold and hav been paid for - all 7 of them! Total profit after all fees £64.43 which i've also pinged acoss taking the grand total to £1139.69. The payment from quidco is still being processed but that'll be another £91.18. I never thought i'd be able to raise this much as extra income in 7 months. Full steam ahead with the seling and decluttering. We're planning on doing a car boot, but with coivd will wait until later in the year.I've got a beer and have just finished printing postage labels, so i'm done for the weekend. Feeling so tired, but feeling positive. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230
