I don,t know whether the police will take action but I admire you for what you've done.
In your shoes I wouldn,t want to be left in the dark as to whether they had taken action or not because I would want to be able to monitor the situation with this girl spot see whether any sudden changes in behaviour or activity by either her or her father had taken place, for better or for worse that might have resulted from a police visit.

I would explain this reason to the police and simply ask them to let me know whether any action had taken place for that reason so that you can monitor your concerns.
