I have £2.79 - hoping to get something nice and healthy for tea from Mozza. Whatever YS on fish/chicken and 50p on a swede - might go bust!

    I went bust... by 5p!!!!

I'll call that a win. Thank you Mozza's for discounting early yesterday. Bagged me a reasonably reduced pair of rainbow trout fillets, a 50p swede, plus herbs, salad bags and clementines at 7p and 5p. :j

    Afternoon All

Since today's payday and I've taken out December's housekeeping from the bank, I'm declaring at £110.10/£120, leaving £9.90 to roll into December. I thought we'd have less left over; as it is, £2.10 disappeared into the coppers' jar, the 5p jar or the £2 coin pot.

See you all in December's challenge.

2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge 66 coupons - 39.5 spent.

    4 - Thermal Socks from L!dl
4 - 1 pair "combinations" (Merino wool thermal top & leggings)
6 - Ukraine Forever Tartan Ruana wrap
    22 - yarn
    1.5 - sports bra
    2 - leather wallet
  • We have spent £3.42 since last post.

OH is having beef and vegetable stir fry with noodles for dinner.
I'm having butternut squash and vegan sausage pie served with vegetables for dinner.

    £216.58/£210.
    £6.58 over.

Think this is the month done but will declare tomorrow just in case.

  • Declaring for November at £454.46, £4.46 over target, and off into December with the news that DS3 is "popping" home for a couple of days next week. Since he's the world's greatest fusspot food-wise, that's a slight ouch on the budgetary front, although it will be lovely to see him before the festive madness breaks out.

This was my first month trying and I’m declaring £110.75/£150. I wasn’t expecting that at all! £39.25 rolling into December.

That’s a main shop at Aldi. A top up at Lidl and all the fruit/veg from the farm shop :D

I’m really chuffed with that. I think I’ll be leaving the budget at £150 for December as we may purchase a few treats for Christmas :o
  • I can now declare us at
    £216.58/£210.
    £6.58 over.
Not bad. Would love to have come in budget but that isn't too much over.

Tomorrow starts our December which is automatically a NSD for us as OH is out all day (his spends are in entertainment due to why he is out) and I am at work so can't spend :money:.
I do have a small delivery from A&C coming Monday and will go shopping also Monday for items we will need so I know first spends for December will be then.

Hope to see you all in December!
