this topic has really interested me, i was wondering if those parents who have HE'd from age 4/5 sent their children to nursery or some kind of daycare.

    BUMP!

It's getting to that time of year again - I've decided to not to send my girls back to school in September, and just wondered if there's anyone else out there considering the same?

hiya, mine are home-ed in Kent, and we have a weekly park meet in the summer holidays. This year we have had at least 8 new families all contemplating not sending their children back in September. You are not alone!
This seems to be an old thread, not sure how many posters are still about, so feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

    Hi skipsmum I'll pm you!

I didn't start a new thread as often they are just merged into old threads anyway. Thought if I bumped this one it might attract the attention of people in my situation.

Phizzimum, I think it's great what you're doing. (same to sara aswell!) I was homeschooled from the age of 12 and only wish I had been sooner. I'm determined to homeschool my own children one day too (in the far far far off future.)

There are so many great and wonderful people that you meet homeschooling / being homeschooled. I can say that I learnt so much more during my home-ed years than I ever did in school. They say you need to give your child 1 month to settle in per every year they were in mainstream ed. Good luck with homeschooling your two girls, if you ever have any questions I'm sure my mum would be more than happy to help aswell.
