I use empty drinks tins, have filled 3 and started on my 4th. Can't wait to open them and get them counted, have no idea how much and it is all small change, but everything helps.

Surfbabe - do you stick the balloon on a dish and make the piggies by doing the top first, then turning it round to do the bottom, but resting it on a pot or whatever??

NOt really sure the answer to that one. I normally tape the feet on and the nose and then just keep turnig it to put the papier mache on. I use a tray adn leave it to dry on that standing on its feet. I try and do a layer al the way round otherwise you end up with it being uneve. Hope thats somehelp!!!

I want to open my pig now! Can I open my pig now? Please? Please can I open my pig now? Can I? Oh, there's still another 30 hours to go! I don't know if I can wait that long, the suspense is driving me crazy. :o :rotfl:

  • Can I join in for the next year please? I have no idea how much i will manage to save. This year I've saved 1p and 2p coins in an old coffe jar, putting them in building society account whenever there is £5, and have saved £25. Will try with £2 coins in sealed pot - need to sort out pot first though:rotfl:

If I have a no spend month, I probably wont actually start until nearer to christmas, and I'm also pretty sure my friend is getting me a terramundi pot as a pressie - what better place to put it!

I'd like to have about £300 by this time next year, but I have no intentions of cracking open the pot until it is packed full with no more room in it!
