    Morning everyone,
Stunty everything is good in the South end mamanged to dodge the rain this morning, thanks for the advice, the thing is the laptop will let me press the thanks button, but when I try to post a reply, I get a message saying that there aren't enough characters in my post  . PM'd you back. Went to Cafe Rouge in Liverpool 1 at the weekend with the 'outlaws'. Only 10 days to NY.
Sparky, hope you're ok in the South of our fair city with all this crap rain. Keep warm and dry mate. Have you tried I.T on Smithdown Road for some laptop advice? They're pretty good, cheap, quick and reliable. I recommend them. Oh, and you've got a PM....

    Morning Sue,
Hope you're OK, and you DH is not too light, in the change department lol. A couple of the mobile buyers are offering rubbish money, so I went through quidco, I got £4.35 for each phone (seperate transactions) plus £4.50 cashback on each one  . Have a good day hun
Hiya sparky, good to see you. How about checking out the IT shop stunty says about - ask them if they'll take pennies as payments - but could you first take a look around their floors!!! :D Thanks for the nudge about the mobiles, we have 3 to get rid of, far better fetting some cash then leaving them on a shelf.

To all sealed pot challengers, have a safe day and keep saving for the BIG opening

  • Hi all (hey sparky and sue)

As promised a post from me with a catch up,

I am still working on my third sealed pot - but i am not going to open this one until it is full, it was helped today with a grand total of £6 in £2 coins and few pence as well so im hoping that i will have a nice sum of money next year.

I have been looking for road change too but im not very good, managed to miss a 50p the other day which was duly spotted by my friends son (7) who was so proud he found it that it would have been just damn wrong for me to take it from him (but yes, the thought did occur to me lol)

Hope all are well and are saving hard :)

How many days is it now? 20? Woohoo!!! Can't wait. And can't wait to start the new one, either.

Anyway, tried to transfer the money into my ISA but HSBC site is down, so no luck!

Managed to make a loss on mystery shops this week - as I rocked up on the wrong day. Now £4.10 out of pocket:o:o:o

Thanks a lot for the quidco info sparky, I'm a member too, so here goes. I'm fine thanks and hubby gets lighter by the day, look out by the time the1st is here!!!! :rotfl:Still, I'm sure he secretly loves being relieved. Still planning my excuses though! Keep safe sparky!

Darn it Puzzled, I was hoping you'd have tackled him for it, where's your head these days!!! :D Bless him I can picture his little face so easily, let's hope he'll start a sealed pot too!!!

20 days oopalah and LC!!! Bad luck about on the mystery shop LC, a bit like me and accidently ordering 2 dvds the same from amazon and not even noticing when the confirmation came through! Felt sure it was them, not me, but.....:o No, you're not the only one who gets nervous in case the bag contents are wrongly counted, I'll think of you when I take mine in and get all of a doodaa.

Evening stunty, hope all's well in the land of stunts! Surely that isn't quite right that they can NEVER leave! How about we let them .....so long as they hand over their pots on the way out?!!! I have a view of a different type of put being left somehow!!

Happy savings all, I'm hoping for more tomorrow.
