Hi there mumzyof2
Glad you are ok...
If you do decide to answer the door when you are in the house on your own..just before you open door..shout over your shoulder to - "dad can you turn the oven down please" or something similar then who ever is on the otherside of the door will think someone is in with you..may sound barking mad but who cares as long as you are safe
When i used to live on my own I also nabbed a pair of my brothers old boots and a coat and stuck them where they could be seen when i opened the door..... then folks don't think you live alone

I'm in - I have a penny pot in my kitchen but it's stuck in a corner that's hard to reach into - so I'll be moving it out somewhere accessible. That gives me a head start with the couple of quid that must be in it already. Can't bring myself to spend any money on something that needs to be smashed/broken to be opened so it'll be gaffer taped shut
I'm going to aim for £200 to pay towards Christmas expenses and if that one fills up it's going into the garage and another recepticle will take it's place
Good luck everyone :TComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

I'll join this. I have a large Roses chocolate jar from last Xmas. I have been saving pennies in it anyway, but will empty it and start afresh from 1st December. My aim is to fill it.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

I'd like to join in with this challenge please! Will aim for £100, which I think should be achievable at £2 per week, but any more would be great.
