Hi mumzy, hope you doing ok after your scare last night. Could you put me down for £500 for this challenge please. I now have my sealed tin and raring to go. Woo Hoo. xSPC 18 Target £200 /0

I'm going to turn a 4L Robinsons carton into my pot, with a bit of help from glue, scissors and wrapping paper. Yeah, this will go wrong!
I was going to buy one, bout our Poundland don't have any, and they all seem to add up to £5 when you've included postage. And that's a lot when I'm only aiming for £100.
OK, how do I get this to dry?! I washed it out, and now it's clean. But wet.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Brilliant challenge, Mumzyof2:T , and one even I can do.:rotfl: Please add me to the list.
Do we have to say upfront how much we hope/plan to save in a year?
I haven't organised a big tin/jar/pot yet(only just seen the challenge:o ) but when I get one I'll just bung all my change except £1 and £2 coins in there when I get home each day and keep on doing the same for a whole year. No idea if I'll manage £100 or £500 but will be really trying with this. And I definitely won't be counting as I go along, then should be a lovely surprise at the end.
Good Luck everyone!
P.S. Have just read right through the thread and most people are commiting themselves to a hoped-for amount, so I will too and say £400. I'd rather be chuffed than disappointed after a year of saving (tho' anything saved will be better than what i've managed this year!) so with luck it might turn out to be more.
