Evening everyone
Hope you have all had a lovely day ....
Well on the sealed pot front.... i need to register a 2nd one under my number, Hubby has decided that he is going to put this years xmas money from him into a tin (told him i don't want to know how much it is) and then add to it all year...then i can open it on Dec 1st 08 and the money is mine to treat myself to what i want....
We came up with this idea as every year he struggles to think of what to get me, and i normally only come up with things that i would like -but they are for the house, and to be honest - at the moment i get more enjoyment from saving...how sad am i LOL...... so i will have 2 sealed pot to open next year ..wooohooo

Merry Christmas.
Hubby and the kids bought me my Terramundi, so I have now fished out the £1 coins out of the demi-john and transferred them over to that.

I'd like to join in too please
Any funds raised will be going towards my savings goal of £3,600 per year - ultimately will go towards a deposit on a house!
I was thinking about buying a Terramundi - but to be honest it seems daft to pay the best part of £20, only to smash it...Perhaps I'm becoming too frugal?
Think I'm going to call into the £ shop tomorrow, or whenever they reopen, and pick up one of the sealed tins :j0 -
Added another £2.20 yesterday, think theres about £40 in my terramundi now
I need to put in about £42 a month to reach the £500 goal so on target so far!!!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Put another fiver in mine today...i'm def. going to make some paper mache ones(I can't spell it properly but you know what I mean!) to give as gifts next Christmas...like Marc said I don't know if I could bring myself to pay 20 and than smash it..
