Is it too late to join? I actually started the other day having read this thread, but them couldn't find it again! I have made a sealed pot from a shoe box with a hole in it and liberally wrapped in selotape - and no-one is getting there till next December...I've already got about 25 pounds in there (unexpected Christmas pressie!) so think I will set an aim of...ummm...250 pounds. It should fit in well with my other challenges, I hope to a) -stick to my budget b) -win 2008 worth of prizes and now... c) - save up 250 in my sealed pot challenge

    Hi

I've always come to MSE site when I've needed inspiration so this time I'm going to join in! I'd saved over £150 in £2 coins in the last year so I'll aim for £200 to be realistic.

    Cheers
    U x

No mumzy I don't count my coins, I just throw into my demi-john whatever I don't like the look of in my purse.

    Coppers, 5p and 10p normally.

    I have a tin for £2, £1, 50p and 20p.

I am considering putting 20p into my demi-john too to bulk it up a bit.

    Like the pig stuntman.

Haven't we seen him before somewhere?

Wasn't he a stunt double for one of the A-Team? Lol
