If you want to save ~1GB, run these two commands from a PowerShell command prompt:

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppXProvisionedPackage -online | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online

Be warned that doing so will remove almost all of the metro apps, but not programs. It is one of the first things I do on systems that need space freeing up and alleviating of bloatware. I've never had any negative feedback from doing so and nobody has missed any of the apps that were installed.

I expect Windows Update will have ran it's course by now. So you could run Disk Cleanup as an administrator and remove as much as you want from there. I tend to tick all the boxes except Downloads.
