Followed by the words "next hypothetical?".
Now maybe I've misinterpreted those words, but to me it sounded like a snidey remark implying that my whole argument falls down because the personal account would have been closed down had it been used for business. And we've now established that it might not, which you've now conceded.
Next time you want to make a snidey remark to me, you better make sure you come equipped with an argument that stands up to scrutiny!0 -

You were giving silly hypothetical reasonings to the OP.
It's completely pointless.

OP, you said that you are not 'overly concerned' about losing the Barclays account. Do you actually realise the implications of having a CIFAS marker on your credit history? No other bank will offer you an account, and no one will give you credit of any kind, including a mortgage, mobile contract, energy account, etc.
It's not just a matter of saying 'bye bye Barclays, I'll take my business elsewhere'.
You may not have done anything wrong knowingly, but your account appears to have been used for money laundering, and that inevitably leads to closure and a CIFAS marker. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
