So we got in touch with building control to try and find the certificate then finally got a hold of someone from L&Q that was the project manager of the site i was looking in to.

regarding virgin money no we haven't gone that rout yet as we manage to get this building report which i submitted to my lender now so will see if they accept that and ill update all on how that goes.
one other thing my MA told me he manage to push through another mortgage with a similar issue with accardo bank

Who did you actually contact? The people from the resale team are useless! The vendor has also authorised me into request all the information on his behalf as everything I was asking, they were pulling the GDPR card

bellway homes sent an email regarding platinum riverside ,strangely saying they havent received report yet but in anticipation have arranged for their building company to start recladding from feb 2020

So they wouldnt speak to me direct either but fortunately me and the seller exchanged number and was in regular contact i believe he spoke to someone called John on the cladding team resales were no use at all they just sent me a email saying a file has been opened up about my case and someone would get back to me

@hi123 regarding your situation are you the buyer our the seller?

I finally got some kind of a response from L&Q yesterday too. Tests have all come back good and just waiting for it to be signed off. Not sure how long this will take though.

buyer
strung along for 7 months and spent money on valuation and solicitor fees etc and rent
surprisingly ,bellway email says they have not got the report yet but in anticipation they will start recladding
