A report was provided in September but rejected because the surveyor had not actually been to the property to inspect it, although simulated burns were carried out off-site.
Another report was made in late November but then before it was approved, the RICs form was provided as well, and this has been accepted by Santander and I have received a mortgage offer from them. It took Santander 10 days from start to finish, but to be fair, all the documents were already in order from my last mortgage application.
if u dont mind,could u share the development's name
we have been chasing one in gmv since july 20190 -

Has anyone ever managed to actually speak to someone from L&Q's "Cladding Review Team"? I call their contact number and no one knows anything about them.
This whole process would be a lot less stressful if I could get some indication of timeline. All I get though is the generic "this is an industry wide issue, we need the government to intervene".0 -
Nope just got an email saying that a case has been open and they will respond to me within 10days0

Does the new consolidated Advice for "Building Owners of Multi-storey, Multi-occupied Residential Buildings" from MHCLG mean anything for us?
It still states:
"The Expert Panel's view is that the clearest way to demonstrate that materials
in the external walls system do not present a risk of fire spread is to confirm that
they are made using materials that achieve Class A2-s3,d2, or previously
referred to as limited combustibility"
So not sure if its has any impact?0 -
