My foot isn't great but been doing the exercises, thank you for asking! I'm hopeful. But I did not get to sleep until about 4am last night, I'm usually asleep at 9.30!
It was my birthday, I've been playing dragon quest monsters (which was a gift) a lot. It's soooo my childhood and I don't have the memory for the combinations of monsters I want to make so I might have to keep notes. 8 or 9 year old me did not have this issue!
Not been able to concentrate at work so I'm catching up today. Thankfully they are super kind and letting me WFH. Just realised that I haven't said what it is, tendonitis apparently. I don't know what it is but apparently I have a mild case and should be covering in 6-8 weeks. So happy about this!
Sorry if this is hard to read, brain is fuzzy from the lack of sleep2 -

Thanks all!
I'm having a bit of a moment. It's coming toa but where decisions need to be made with regards to my uncles house. So in an ideal world, I would like to purchase, renovate and then live in it as it's a house that is a large part of my life. Our family has lived in the house for over 100 years.
However, in order to do it, I will have to buy with my sister. However she's told me today that she has less savings than this time last year because of the medical costs she's had which includes regular physio and now her teeth.
She lives with mum, barely pays rent or bills. I understand that these the medical fees are expensive but she earns pretty good money. Why doesn't she have savings? If she can't afford her life now, how is she going to afford her portion (which is 39% when split by income proportions).
I don't know. I just... I just don't want to be drowning by being chained to her.1 -
I think definitely think carefully before tying yourself to someone you don't trust financially, but only you can say how real your worries are!Start mortgage date: August 2022; Start mortgage amount: £240,999; Original mortgage free date: August 2056
Current mortgage amount: £226,957.97
Start student loan 2012: £29,750; current student loan: CLEARED July 20251 -
Thank you. I'm still very worried. More worried actually, my mum piped up that we should be buying as joint tenants rather than tenants in common with different percentages. I calculated that I would be paying 71%. Plus giving up living on my own.2

It sounds like you'd be more carrying her than chained to her. Only you can make the decision, but my unsolicited outsider's opinion is that it sounds like a terrible ideaMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Some idiot went into work knowing her leg wasn't going to like it and ended up with sick days and now on naproxen.
All things financial are out the window. No thoughts are held in this smooth brain right now.1
