Had a bit of an argument today. The MIA bridesmaid decided to offer assistance today, but only for this evening. When everything is done. Insisted that she's been soooooo busy. Doesn't matter that we are all busy. She's just such a main character. I had hoped that she would grow out of it but she's in her thirties so it's looking unlikely.
Uncle is in acute care for older people. I'm not overly sure that means.
Went to the carboot, got come more supplies for the furniture stuff. My mum commented that maybe I won't have time for this when I get a partner. Nah. Don't think I can be bothered! Sorry mum!2 -
Mum! 🤭
I can only imagine that is the single person equivalent of parents trying to manage your reproductive calendar for you when you've already blessed them with one or more grandchildren1 -

I don't think she necessarily wants grandkids. I do though! It looks a lot less scary than having your own kids! If something goes wrong, you can select the appropriate adult.4 -
I feel like all I write about is doom and gloom. But I'm going to do it again.
My only living uncle has been in hospital since Friday, now they have found a large mass which is probably cancer. My nephew has been in hospital today as well. Work is pushing me to the edge, my sister is ill and I need to help her and my boss appears to have given me his cold. I don't know how to cope with everything at once. But I'll do it, my family needs me to do it. But I would really like to have a day off.3 -
Can you take any flexi time/leave or similar? Sometimes real life comes first and work just needs to be put on the back burner. Remember to breathe and to expend your energy where it will do most good - while uncle and nephew are obviously very concerning, they're in the hands of medical professionals and it sounds like sister needs you most? Take care1
